I would definitely listen to just the instrumentals as I’m pondering around the house or during a walk at sunset time. Love it.

Unfortunately, I really don’t like his vocals or the lyrics. They take away from the stellar production.

I wish the production was a little more experimental since there are long parts with no singing...

This doesn't work for me though because the melodies are not that great or memorable/catchy, unlike most of his songs.

I'm sure it'll do okay but it's a pass :trollga:

Will obviously need to hear the album to confirm this. 
But I'll be surprised if this is the best choice they had for lead single, think it's more likely they wanted to deliberately use the opening track as lead to set up the vibe for the album era. 

Good song, feel like it needs the album that follows it to fully realise its potential.
