That’s how democracy dies. Democracy is already dead. Republicans are actively doing the same. Democrats should match that energy. It’s the least they can do as cowardly Democratic leadership would rather drown with the sinking ship than actually fight for their constituents. Democrats need to abandon the “when they go low, we go high” BS. This is a different world now.

Democrats need to abandon the “when they go low, we go high” BS. This is a different world now. No 'cause like...hear me out Republican politicians get evil and Republican voters capitulate so quick. They literally went from "a mask is tyranny" to "just carry your papers around, what's the big deal?" within 5 years. Democratic voters have always shown not only a higher intelligence (factually proven, btw) but more willingness to hold politicians accountable. So if one party is gonna abuse positions of power, it might as well be the party that passes laws that actually benefit us and has a base of voters ready to jack 'em up if they step over a certain line, no? Besides, Dems are trying to re-level the playing field, not take an outright advantage. Whimsical bitch 1

A lot of the people expressing those views are paid to do so. They are from Russia and India and it is their job to make these types of comments, to grow apathetic, hopeless attitudes in Western countries. This is well-documented and true. The anonimity of online spaces gives a lot of possibilities to doing this sort of manipulation. Remember when twitter exposed countries of origin and a lot of right wing MAGA influencers turned out to be from India? This is not an accident! It's completely on purpose.
