Morphine Prince 109,926
This is why I will never fall for the "It doesn't matter who wins, both parties are the same" rhetoric She not only did this, she also is moving to: - Pass new districting maps to eliminate 4 Republican House seats - Enshrine LGBT+ rights in the state constitution - Enshrine abortion rights in the state constitution - Protect and expand voting rights - Fire Republican appointees to the University of Virginia board - Reestablish support for DEI - Accelerate minimum wage incrases - Build more housing to lower rent prices in the state 10 5 1

The only people who think both parties are the same are either ignorant or have brain worms. There’s literally no in between. 2

LunaUniverse 4,621
Super relieved to have her over Sears, but I just know Trump is going to try and punish us hard for having a powerful woman that’s willing to resist his nonsense 1# Samoyed Stan

That’s how democracy dies. Edited January 19 by MACATL
Bronco 27,599
Just going to point out that we shouldn't be going "oh all Democrats are better than Republicans" because some are doing good. This week we've also had Democrats refuse to oppose ICE and instead seek to moderate opposition to ICE. We've seen Dems in response to Good's killing argue that the solution is more funding for ICE and training for ICE - her murderer was a trainer for ICE. Spanberger is great - but she's not the establishment Democrats people are against, she actively ran a campaign to be elected that went against the advice and the spin of the Democratic establishment. Its really important when you see people like Spanberger doing good that it leads you to support likeminded Democrats - not the Democrats as a singular organisation. We shouldn't support the Cuomos, the Pelosis, the Schumers. The gays know how to party 4
