REALITY 78,322
All of these descriptions sound so f*cking good I saw some rumors (meaning people on Twitter ) say that there was going to be a live album of her performance at Requiem. I hope to god that's true. Leaning into the gothic and industrial sound sounds great, and I'd love to hear a reimagining of MAYHEM from that perspective—even though MAYHEM by itself is already fantastic and imo, her best record. Also, maybe this is delusional thinking, but the fact that the encore song was Can't Stop the High feels like a hint that something new is coming after Requiem. The song is literally about continuing on, so maybe this adds credence to the TOTAL MAYHEM rumors?? That would make sense, but it might just be a way to include the only song from the album that was never performed.

A live recording will never sound as good as a studio recording. ASIB really suffers from that. I almost never go back to Shallow or ARUTW and company because they’re live recordings Artists normally change arrangements for live performances and that sometimes elevate the songs. If the artist doesn't release a live album or a reimagined album with those arrangements, fans rip the audio and upload it to streaming or downloading it to listen to it. This fanbase love to do that... (Not just us tho) I remember during the MAYHEM promo shows Monsters were mass streaming the Coachella versions that some fan uploaded somewhere instead of streaming the actual album But I agree with you, I don't like hearing the audience noise when I'm listening to music, if I want that I'd watch the performance. So if she releases a live album someday I hope they filter the noises and just produce a track using her voice and the band playing. She sounds amazing live, even better than in studio versions so that would be nice Edited 3 hours ago by LG2008

Does it come at the same time as the video release? Someone posted a comparison and it looks like 50 to 60 days is the norm. My guess is that if this is supposed to be a funeral for Mayhem, that we will see this at the end of tour in April. But in 50 days would be Mayhems anniversary, so maybe then. At least 1 month to go

Live instruments and interludes elevate them. There has never been a case where a Gaga live arrangement has been worse than the studio imo. I even resort to fanmade studio versions sometimes over the album tracks

27iro 15
Hi everyone! So first of all I wanna thank everyone who was lucky enough to attend the show and came here to give us all the deetz, really appreciate it! And then question for whoever has Apple Music, cause Im looking for evidence but Im not a good detective. So, the question is, has everyone who has done an Apple Music Live Show released the live album after? And if so, is it released on Spotify as well? Cause I honestly dont wanna pay por Apple Music. According to Google only 3 artists have released the live albums, and Ive found one on Spotify. But then I go to Apple Music Live and underneath "watch performances" there are "featured tracks" and there are more than 3 artists there. So... Im confused 😅 I feel like it would be smart to release the live album everywhere, including Spotify, since more people would listen to it, she would make more money etc. But I understand Gaga has never cared about that unlike certain artists who might release a random song from a random show for only 24h to block others from the charts. And I respect that from Gaga, but I would really like to have a proper live album on Spotify instead of having random .mp3 files on my phone. So yeah, anyone knows or has any theory about this? Thanks.

But I think the fact that she’s confirmed that she’s already in the studio working on stuff + the unreleased lyrics on her website adds some credibility to those rumors.
