But the idea that in between Wicked 1 releasing in Dec 2024 and the Wicked 2 Promo tour starting in mid Autumn 2025 she had zero time to work on music don't check out. Between releasing the album, doing press, and a world tour for a year, where the hell are you living enough life to find the inspiration to write? What experiences are you drawing from to create art, if your whole life has just been promoting the last album? I think it was Bryan Cranston on the Office Ladies podcast who had some really interesting things to say about how he was taking time off to live life and have every day experiences, and to travel to broaden his mind, because it's all that life experience that turns into inspiration for characters and scenes and ideas, and that without taking pause to live and experience, you have nothing to turn into art Artists should create when they feel INSPIRED, not for the sake of it, or to rake in more money Edited January 11 by hELXIG I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
