Top games you played this year

Let’s post our favorite games we played this year (they don’t have to be games released this year, just the ones you played). I’ll start:

- Cronos: The New Dawn: I loved the story and the gameplay; it’s the first game I’ve ever platinum.

- Mario Kart World: I know it needs more content, but I have a lot of fun with it.

- Donkey Kong Bananza: Super fun, and the gameplay is so satisfying.

- RE Biohazard: I love Resident Evil games and this was one of the few modern ones I hadn't played. It was scary asf, and I enjoyed it a lot.

I played Pokémon platinum for the first time on my childhood DSi and I loved it. I did not play a lot of new stuff this year, most of my time was spent going back to retro games.

I feel like the only games I really spent time on this year are Fallout 76 and Minecraft  

I played a couple dozen but not really consistently. Me and a guy played through some of the first two Borderlands games...two LEGO games (Star Wars and Horizon: Zero Dawn)...

Ohhh I played Cyberpunk 2077 like mad after rewatching Edgerunners  it might be in my top 3 favorite games ever, it's so good.

- Baldur's Gate 3 

- Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader

They've consumed my whole year. There's a lot of reading though, but I think that will help us be less insufferable as a cult stan

My favorite bottom game is Animal Crossing. Top game this year tho was Mario Kart.

Tbh I don't think I spent any time playing anything this year myself, BUT I have watched so many hours of people livestreaming The Blue Prince that I've been having dreams about that freaking house  

I was going to finally buy it so my bf and I could play it together over the holidays, but I just know that we'd end up arguing and it's not worth it lmao

Mostly stuck to my MMOs this year which are all old at this point.

Only new game I recall playing was Clair Obscura which is easily GOTY. Real renaissance piece for rpgs.

Also loving the Final Fantasy Tactics remaster.

Ughhh I keep picking this game up over and over again but I quick fall off because of the first person perspective. It’s literally a game that’s right up my alley but that first person really takes me out of it for some reason. I wish there was a way to switch to third person
