magicomg 0
Forget about a show at Plains of Abraham, mayor of the city said only 20+ years career artist can perform here. The only way she can perform here is being part of the Quebec City's Summer Festival (wich is a free festival). It's a historic park, so the city wants to keep it the most intact possible. Rainbow Unicorn 82
You're wrong sweetie. At Madonna's shows in Seattle, with a very similar stage to Gaga's, she played to 10,000 people. Gaga would only play to 10k at the Key. I've been to both venues, I've seen Madonna's boxscores. As for the Tacoma Dome I'm kind of sick of explaining this on GagaDaily. There is no real capacity for the venue despite what Wikipedia says. The venue is just a huge circle with no seats of floor. That's it. There's a backstage area attached, and there are portable restrooms and some stalls with food. They keep all of the seats out back and then push them in on the day of the show. The seats are bleachers. Because Gaga's stage was so huge, they only had about 10,000 seats worth of bleachers and 4,000 on the GA floor. The seats in the back however, are permanent unlike the lower level seats, so they just didn't fill them for the BTWB due to safety issues. I was told this by the event manager. Also because Gaga had a mix they didn't seat people in the middle, so it was mainly on the sides, GA, and some boxes in the back. The venue has no real "capacity" as if the bleachers weren't full they would just leave them outside. Her show was only 90 tickets away from selling out the Friday before the show on Monday, so it was officially soldout. Please believe me, I was there, I spoke to all the event managers, staff, security, box office, over my 3 days there, and did plenty of research. Also they let us watch them setup the stage which was cool. Madonna played for an average of 11 825 people in 2 nights at Key Arena and she has seats on the GA floor. The second show wasn't completely sold-out. So, the full capacity would be around 13,000/14,000. I don't see why she couldn't make a concert in a venue like that ?

Pop Muse Tumblr 1
...This is an issue that Beyonce's fans are complaining about right now - they're saying that because she continues to have arena tours, it's going to be next to impossible to get tickets whereas if she did a good mix of arenas and stadiums, all her fans would be far more likely to go. Her UK arena dates sold out in minutes but a lot of them were scalpers buying bundles of tickets specifically to sell on eBay for over £660 (yes, that much). If an artist does an arena tour, there is a massive chance of this happening and true fans not seeing the show. It's a lot less likely to happen for a stadium tour. I heard this situation happened for Gaga's 4 dates in Hong Kong. Had she gone for stadiums instead, it might not have happened. Stadiums also mean that it won't matter if a lot of casual fans want to go as with a capacity that high, they won't be denying lots of devoted fans their tickets. The smaller the venue, the more I think casual fans should think twice about booking if demand is high. beyonce is trying to be our generation's tina turner, but tina turner played to way more people and filled a whole lot more stadiums. her concert tickets were a lot more affordable too- tina really loves to play for 'the people'. who knows, maybe beyonce in ten more years will do less of this: and more of this:

hell0samuel 59
I think she won't sell-out a lot of stadiums... But she can try where she's really popular, like Australia and keep with the stadiums in Europe (Stade de France/Aviva Stadium/Twickenham Stadium...) ! For the next tour, she should do something like that : NORTH AMERICA SEATTLE – Key Arena – 16,000 PHILADELPHIA – Wells Fargo Center – 15,000 PHILADELPHIA – Wells Fargo Center – 15,000 BOSTON – TD Garden – 18,000 CHICAGO – Wrigley Fied – 40,000 WASHINGTON – Verizon Center – 18,000 LOS ANGELES – Dodger Stadium – 45,000 LAS VEGAS – MGM Grand Garden – 14,000 LAS VEGAS – MGM Grand Garden – 14,000 ATLANTA – Philipps Arena – 19,000 PHOENIX – US Airways Center – 15,000 HOUSTON – Toyota Center – 18,000 DENVER – Pepsi Center – 18,000 KANSAS CITY – Sprint Center – 19,000 MIAMI – American Airlines Arena – 17,000 NEW YORK – Yankee Stadium – 60,000 VANCOUVER – BC Place Stadium – 55,000 TORONTO – Rogers Center – 40,000 QUEBEC CITY – Plaines d'Abraham – 70,000 MEXICO CITY – Foro Sol – 50,000 GUADALAJARA – Estadio Tres de Marzo – 30,000 MONTERREY – Arena Monterrey – 15,000 SAN JUAN – Coliseo de Puerto Rico – 11,000 23 dates ATTENDANCE : 593 000 GROSS : $54,000,000 ASIA SEOUL – Jamsil Olympic Stadium – 70,000 BEIJING – Olympic Sports Center – 40,000 HONG-KONG – Hong-Kong Stadium – 40,000 KAOHSIUNG – Chungcheng Stadium – 30,000 TOKYO – Tokyo Dome – 50,000 TOKYO – Tokyo Dome – 50,000 OSAKA – Osaka Dome – 35,000 MANILA – Mall of Asia Arena – 11,000 SINGAPORE – Singapore Indoor Stadium – 11,000 SINGAPORE – Singapore Indoor Stadium – 11,000 BANGKOK – Rajamangala Stadium – 45,000 JAKARTA – Gelora Bung Karno Stadium – 75,000 KUALA LUMPUR – Stadium Merdeka – 30,000 NEW DELHI – Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium – 50,000 MUMBAI – Wankhede Stadium – 35,000 15 dates ATTENDANCE : 567 000 GROSS : $75,000,000 AFRICA/MIDDLE EAST ISTANBUL - Stade BJK Ä°nönü – 30,000 ANKARA – Ankara Arena – 12,000 TEL AVIV – Ramat Gan Stadium – 40,000 DUBAI – The Sevens Stadium – 45,000 CASABLANCA – Stade Mohammed V – 65,000 JOHANNESBURG – FNB Stadium – 65,000 CAPE TOWN – Cape Town Stadium – 45,000 DURBAN – ICC Durban Arena – 10,000 DURBAN – ICC Durban Arena – 10,000 9 dates ATTENDANCE : 322 000 GROSS : $23,000,000 SOUTH AMERICA SAN JOSE - Estadio Ricardo Saprissa Aymá – 25,000CARACAS - Estadio de Fútbol Universidad Simón BolÃÂvar – 20,000 MEDELLIN - Estadio Atanasio Girardot – 40,000 QUITO – Coliseo General Rumiñahui – 13,000 BUENOS AIRES – River Plate Stadium – 65,000 SANTIAGO - Estadio Nacional Julio MartÃÂnez Prádanos – 45,000 ASUNCION – Jockey Club del Paraguay – 30,000 RIO DE JANEIRO – Estádio OlÃÂmpico João Havelange – 35,000 SAO PAULO - Estádio do Pacaembu – 45,000 LIMA – Coliseo Amauta – 18,000 10 dates ATTENDANCE : 356 000 GROSS : $22,000,000 EUROPE BUCHAREST - PiaÃ…£a ConstituÃ…£iei – 25,000 TALLIN – Tallin Song Festival Grounds – 30,000 HELSINKI – Hartwall Areena – 12,000 STOCKHOLM – Tele2 Arena – 40,000 MOSCOU – Olimpiyskiy – 19,000 ST PETERSBURG – Ice Palace – 13,000 WARSAW – Pepsi Arena – 35,000 COPENHAGUEN – Parken Stadium – 35,000 ZAGREB – Stade Maksimir – 35,000 PRAGUE – Eden Arena – 25,000 VIENNA – Wiener Stadthalle – 14,000 COLOGNE – RheinEnergieStadion – 50,000 BERLIN - O2 World – 13,000 LONDON – Emirates Stadium – 60,000 LONDON – Emirates Stadium – 60,000 MANCHESTER – Ethiad Stadium – 60,000 EDINBURGH – Murrayfield Stadium – 65,000 DUBLIN – Aviva Stadium – 40,000 BELFAST - Odyssey Arena – 14,000 AMSTERDAM – Ziggo Dome – 14,000 AMSTERDAM – Ziggo Dome – 14,000 PARIS – Stade de France – 75,000 LYON – Stade de Gerland – 40,000 ZURICH – Letzigrund – 45,000 ANTWERP – Sportpaleis – 12,000 ANTWERP – Sportpaleis – 12,000 MILAN – Mediolanum Forum – 12,000 ROME – Stadio Flaminio – 45,000 BARCELONA – Palau Sant Jordi – 16,000 VALLADOLID - Estadio José Zorrilla – 30,000 LISBON - Pavilhão Atlântico – 18,000 31 dates ATTENDANCE : 983 000 GROSS : $77,000,000 OCEANIA AUCKLAND – Mount Smart Stadium – 45,000 MELBOURNE – Ethiad Stadium – 50,000 SYDNEY – Allianz Stadium – 45,000 BRISBANE – Suncorp Stadium – 50,000 ADELAIDE – Adelaide Oval – 30,000 PERTH – Perth Oval – 25,000 6 dates ATTENDANCE : 245 000 GROSS : $29,000,000 FINAL 94 dates ATTENDANCE : 3,1 million Average attendance : 32 736 GROSS : $2,8 million <img data-cke-saved-src="http://gagadaily.com/public/style_emoticons/default/nails.gif" src="http://gagadaily.com/public/style_emoticons/default/nails.gif" class="bbc_emoticon" alt=":<img data-cke-saved-src="http://gagadaily.com/public/style_emoticons/default/nails.gif" src="http://gagadaily.com/public/style_emoticons/default/nails.gif" class="bbc_emoticon" title="" /> /></strong><strong class=" bbc'="">  i like these, but why have you down-sized her venue in london :)  is it cause she would be also doing other stadiums in UK? JustABadKid 0
I'd like her to keep it as a mixture. I don't think it's a good idea to play at the same place for multiple nights, but smaller venues allow her to go more places.  I just want her to come back to New Orleans. I don't know why New Orleans has been skipped by artists recently: Gaga, Florence + The Machine, P!nk, Beyonce, Ellie Goulding, etc.  Hopefully with arenas, she could schedule the almost guaranteed dates of Houston and Dallas, along with New Orleans and other southern areas (not just south Florida).  What I don't want is for her to perform one stadium show in Houston or Dallas and that's it for southern US. It just isn't fair. Regardless of the ticket prices, some of us don't have enough money for traveling.

After the Super Bowl, you'd think she'd have at least 13,000 fans in that area to fill the local arena.
