Japan dates questions.

I am planning on buying VIP silver tickets for Tokyo dates today via Viagogo.

Any suggestions on what date should I choose? Is there anything I should know about attending concert in Japan in general?

Also these dates uncouraged me to visit Tokyo alone, if someone wants to join me you're welcome :cryga:

Everyone saying Japanese tickets are physical, what does it mean if I buy it via Viagogo?

Best advice: NEVER buy from Viagogo.

Once I bought tickets for Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet Tour at Wembley (I traveled from Spain). I bought the tickets months in advance but never received them, so days before the show I started emailing back and forth with them.

We traveled to London without the tickets. They told us they would send them to our accommodation by courier, but that never happened. On the morning of the event, I managed to locate their central office and went there with my two gay bear friends.

After a very intense confrontation, we finally got three tickets (not the ones we had originally purchased).

In the end, the Three Gay Bears were reunited with Goldilocks and evil was defeated — not without first threatening to burn down the office with the employees inside.

If you wait a couple of hours, this post is going to be full of horror tales like ours.

I hope someone can give you an alternative for your tickets in Japan, but seriously: RUN FROM VIAGOGO.

Yeah, in the meantime I realised that the tickets are only physical and sent out the day before.... I thought about putting in hotel address on it but it seems really risky that I won't get them.... Thanks for sharing, sorry that it happened to you. I planned the whole 1 month trip to Japan around Gaga date and it's already falling apart :trollga:

Don’t let it go! Just find another way: fan-to-fan tickets, other resellers, even lurking in Japanese forums using Google Translate… or plan your trip leaving the concert for the last couple of days and try your luck once you’re in Japan while exploring the country! Think of it as a hopefully treat to end a Japanese adventure. Even if you don’t end up finding tickets, you’re still going to have an amazing time.

I just found this in a japanese web:

If you are in Japan already, you might be able to get lucky at a ticket resale shops(aka Kinken Shops 金券ショップ). They sell 2nd hand tickets (not only for concerts but also train tickets, shopping vouchers, stamps, etc.), usually at higher prices if good seats or sold out, but sometimes at a discount, especially on the day of the event).

In Tokyo, resale shops that carry concert tickets can be found in Shibuya, Shinjuku, or Ueno near the JR train stations. In Osaka, most are located around Namba and south of Umeda station.
