I feel like if LG8 is soon, there's a stronger possibility of a lead Q4 of this year and then album Q1/Q2 of next year. 

BUT an album this year would always be welcomed as well

I kinda hope she'll launch Lead either in September or waiting for early 2027 tbh. Releasing it too close to November and start of Christmas freeze could kinda kill the song tbh

She needs a great timing this time

the little manager in me thinks this way too 

she always seems to release whenever the charts are super competitive (I think the number 1 on Spotify Global recently was like, 4 million or something? Disease did more) or very close to other releases. I hope the timing is right for her this time. I know I'll enjoy the music either way.

Same here but she just needs to think a bit more about charts performances. The music will still be great either it's released now or two months later I mean. We can wait if it means she's doing good schedule

Tbh I feel like the pre-MAYHEM regular studio teasing was necessary I mean her last album was Chromatica in 2020 and she barely promoted it. Fans were a bit off from the excitement let's be honest.

Now I just don't think she needs any type of big teasing for next record after the serve MAYHEM era was. On the contrary I feel like she needs some type of anticipation with slowing down on public presence. Only my opinion of course

Am I the only one who just doesn’t see LG8 being Requiem-coded ?

Not that I’d be against it at all, but I don’t think it will happen.

I fully “expect” something completely fresh this time around. Of course it’ll have influences from the past, but not in an obvious copy-paste way à la MAYHEM or Requiem.

I didn’t even notice  After 2023, I got so used to Gaga pretending she doesn’t exist that now, I can spend months and months without noticing anything

Her last post is from May 28th (mainly because of the Kavinsky **** happening ) and she only appeared at that TDWP2 premiere. Basically she went on a public blackout after MAYHEM Ball closure 

It's just fine imo, I thing she kinda did the same before dropping DWAS in summer 2024 tbh

Controversially, I don't think the sound of Requiem is going to influence her next album (maybe DWAS, but that's because I'm bias to loving it lol). But I do think the producer angle that she played during the show (and Abracadabra Grammy's performance) is a good indicator of the direction she's going in. Sound/Visuals/Aesthetics are up in the air though atm.
