If there’s something I have learned from Gaga it’s this; whatever you want or expect isn’t what will happen. Im keeping my expectations open for the new sound of the record. I just think we’re in new ground now because she has just had 2 tours and an album cycle where she was in peace, had enough rest between things AND was happy and healthy. Plus Michael seems to really ground her and help her balance her life and work. And that ARTPOP era was seemingly pushed after her hip surgery. Very much this, Born This Way and ARTPOP could’ve also came out EVEN earlier because Anderson Cooper’s interview with her where she played him parts of BTW that were basically finished, minus a few of the bonus tracks, she just had to focus on the tour and wait out all the promo deals but the standard album was essentially finished before she even shot the album cover in December 2010. ARTPOP also originally was slated for late 2012 but was pushed back to April 2013, because she was touring and wanted more time. I don't think this is the right way to look at it. It's more worthwhile to look at the space between pop/mainstream records. Well I counted her jazz album even if those don't sell That said she said she's been very creative and florishing in writing. So let's no rule out a pop album. I know some people here absolutely don't want to hear about a new album even if she basically confirmed she doesn't rule out the 2026 door. Yes/no because it takes the same amount of time to record. Yeah she might have to WRITE her pop albums but still the recording process (schedule depending) is pretty much the same.
