Snow falls in Saudi Arabia

my dad lived in Saudi in the late 70s and one time he fell out of a two-story window and broke his tooth and now he has a fake tooth 

anyway, i guess what im trying to say is, that sometimes it snows in the desert and your teeth still won’t come back

Isn't that common occurrence in certain parts? 
Higher altitudes, particularly in the north (Tabuk, Asir region), get cold enough for snow. Northern Riyadh too can experience snow and cold snaps. 
 

 It's pretty much like some people thinks California didn't snow but it does in some regions. There are popular ski resorts even.
