Not the shade...  No one in pop has had a year like her. She did not shine that much nor was she commercially successful. But it was her year.

If you need to throw shade to explain a statement maybe it's not true

It’s a new day I guess.  🤷🏻‍♂️ Artists just don’t permeate the zeitgeist like they used to.  Or maybe she just hasn’t YET.  We shall see.
