Vimo 1,222
We've seen it the last couples years, Christmas songs climbing atop of the charts for the Holiday season, extending the number of weeks at no 1 for All I want for christmas is you. Since Xmas songs benefit from a context that comes back evey year, should they have their own chart and be banned from the Hot100? Seems to me that them topping the charts is purely artificial due to the holiday season. DISCUSS!

Bonkers 30,030
omg why would you want to start a war with Mariah Carey? And no, the charts are a reflection of what people are listening to. And we deserve to be exposed for the tacky losers we are. DESTROY UR DISEASE 13,790
Nah, I like it when there are songs not leaving the top 10 for the entire year and then the holiday season comes and they're all being pushed out and become recurrent I can smell your sickness I can...

princedeeblebleble 2,291
Maybe there should be a separate xmas chart, because it's generally the same few songs which makes it boring. Or only allow new ones? Edited 3 hours ago by princedeeblebleble

Reveal hidden contents Though I agree with this in spirit, in reality they're not a true reflection of what people listen to due to recurrency rules. For instance, DWAS is still getting enough streams to be on the Hot100, people are still listening to the song yet it's notwhere to be found. So if rules can be made up for some songs, they definitely can be made up for others.
Wet Fire 7,960
If people are listening to any music, it is supposed to be reflected on the charts. Having said that, quite a few rules stop the charts from capturing music consumption. Anyway, Merry Christmas. elsamars 4,555
I think we should stop banning things we don't like.
