ChromaticaBoy 1,052
What do you think of the new choreos from the Mayhem Ball Tour? I absolutely love a lot of them. Abra is hands down my favorite. I also really love how Parris reworked Judas, Applause, PF and others. Seeing those changes felt like opening a fresh, new chapter in Gaga’s live performances. That said, some parts of other choreos are a bit quirky. Pros are that they add even more theatrical flair to the show, which I adore and they’re easier on Gaga’s body. She’s singing and dancing, yet she looks like she’s having the time of her life on stage this time around and she doesn’t look tired even after so many shows. The only tiny drawback is that a few moments don’t feel quite as polished or thought-out as others. But honestly, the tour is still a 100/10 for me, hands down the best thing I’ve ever seen. Just curious to know what you think. Edited 7 hours ago by ChromaticaBoy
Sneaky Oliver 22,416
I loved them! I like how Parris incorporated new moves to the old choreos but still keeping the same essence, I think she was able to choreograph the whole show but let Gaga breathe (like The Beast has some moves but it’s still focused on the singing, same for Alejandro), also I appreciate the fact that Parris incorporated a lot of femininity which was kind of a non-existent element on Gaga’s dancing (except for DIC perhaps), like she’s now shaking her ass, arching her back, prancing around like a queen and not just doing stiff robotic moves 1 1

When Gaga arches her back in the Sheiße intro

hELXIG 43,895
I am just so proud of PARRIS who made it out of little New Zealand (which almost noone does) and made it to the biggest stage possible I can't believe a kiwi who lived 1.5 hours drive from me in the city over is GAGA'S choreographer. And not only that she's killing it. I absolutely loved the choreo at Mayhem Ball. It really felt like the BTW era level peak. Not just the dancing, but the way the whole crew of dancers was so coordinated as a whole to keep the entire stage occupied and interesting Also did you know the intro with the red dress with dancers inside was Parris' idea? I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Yes I also noticed a lot of coordination, they all worked as a single machine. And yep I knew about the cage dress, with the giant Gaga😂
Linus Gaga 8,387
Only thing is Shadow of A Man coachella > mayhem ball, with outfit and it’s choreo. Hit me a message and say hi !

Yep it was super cool in Coachella/Copacabana version. Though I loved the extended intro at MBT, it felt like a spaceship was landing right into the arena! Lextyr97 20,261
I like it but I don’t love it like I loved loved loved Chromatica Ball for example. But I DO love the reason that I don’t love the choreo 🤣 I know, confusing, but with the choreo being simplified, Gaga’s able to do a lot more, hence us getting a much longer show than Chromatica Ball AND her voice sounding so incredible. I’m grateful that Parris realizes she’s choreographing for someone who also has to sing at the same time

Do you think for the next tour Parris should choreograph like a choreo for the dancers and something simplified for Gaga? With some parts where Gaga goes like full strength choreo along with the dancers. Edited 3 hours ago by ChromaticaBoy
REALITY 78,035
I like all of them except Applause. Maybe it's cause that song made me a little monster, but I have a lot of nostalgia for the old choreo and I think the new one isn't as interesting. Controversiaga 12,250
I read this as “mayhem ball Oreos” Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . Emphasis on the “Ga”
andy232000 12,605
I wasnt convinced at first but they have grown on me. I kinda like that its now a hybrid of the old choreos with a new one
Anderson123 39,680
I love it! She gave old songs a new fresh take. I refused to accept that Scheiße would have different moves but it works so well with all of the elements it has.
Taumaturg0 798
They're way better for live singing while still reamining iconic. There's also a movement language throughout the show, the choreos are cohessive with each ohter
