I love it but don't listen to it that much anymore only because the rest of the album is just that amazing from start to finish. I'm just glad it achieved the things it did because no one expected it to do THAT good for a whole year.

I like it.

It's a beautiful song. But it will always and forever feel like a Bruno song to me and the release amongst all the LG7/DarkGa teasing and rumors, getting tacked onto MAYHEM felt a little sus and it doesn't fit on the album including production-wise, not to mention it completely blocked Disease's potential success, I suppose it will always rub me the wrong way. 

With that said, if it comes on obviously I vibe but I never play it voluntarily and always stop my vinyl at BOG before DWAS comes on. The MAYHEM version I listen to on Spotify excludes DWAS.

I adore this song. In an alternate timeline, Bruno released this as a solo single and it would’ve been my favorite Bruno track alongside LOOH, I’m just lucky I live in the timeline where he convinced Gaga to not only duet with him but also slap it on Mayhem

I iike it but there's a couple of buts.

But 1. There are shades of Shallow in that the visual is a big part of the liking. I prefer it to Shallow as a song though, and I do play it sometimes whereas I never play Shallow.

But 2. I do find the way it was tacked on to Mayhem to be somewhat irritating, and it doesn't fit sonically. Now I know Mayhem doesn't have a cohesive sound so you may well ask how can I say it doesn't fit sonically ? Well I think it's more of a Bruno song than a Gaga song, and his (great) voice is both the first voice you hear and the main voice you hear, and that guitar intro is borderline apologetic compared with all that goes before.

Plus, it's a timeless song full of soul! What's there not to like?
