Name a thing you dislike about a Gaga song you love

I love MANiCURE, but I wish the album version emphasised the rock instrumentation the way the live versions do. The album version gets stunted by the production.

yeah, it becomes a bit repetitive then


GOE is a good song and I love it more since TMB, but the "I've been feelin' this familiar feeling" line is so so jarring to my ears, it just doesn't sound good.

First thing that comes to mind is Venus. It’s one of my top favourite Gaga songs, but I hate the bridge. It totally kills the momentum of the song, cheapens the theme, and the final chorus falls flat because of it.

 

I absolutely LOVE the intro to Black Jesus + Amen Fashion, but I hate the actual song (except the bridge).

Like, maybe not even the first chorus, but the one that closes out the song, they could have added a lil smth smth you know what I'm sining 

 

I totally agree! Aura is insanely good, and the chorus works well the first time, but the second time it hits it kinda derails the song and everything grinds to a halt. It definitely needed something more in the mix to keep that vibe running high before the final drop.

OK and now seriously:

- I don't like how short Rain On Me is (and that also applies to many other Chromatica songs)
- I don't like that Babylon, Love Me Right, LoveDrug and Can't Stop The High lack the bridge and third chorus
- a thing about songs like Dance In The Dark, Hair, Boys Boys Boys, Do What U Want, Fashion Of His Love, etc. - they fade out instead of having a proper ending

- Poker Face becomes a little bit too repetitive near the end
- this one is more of a preference but I like much more how Marry The Night ends in live performances than how it ends in studio version

 

and I don't really have any Gaga songs that I truly dislike so I'm just gonna talk about those that I don't like as much:

- Jewels n Drugs has been lately stuck in my head for whatever reason and honestly I don't mind it at all
- I LOVE the bridge from Don't Call Tonight
- I like how there's like triple vocals in Teeth verses: the main vocal, then the backing vocals repeating the thing that was just said and then one extra vocal kind of like finishes the thought
- I like the overall vibe of Plastic Doll like the instrumental could be good for some kind of commercial or something
- I really like the sexy vibe of The Beast and that guitar in the bridge, omg...

Aura is one of my top 5 Gaga songs, but I HATE the bitcrusher / 8-Bit vocal effect they used on her vocals in the intro. It’s such an outdated and basic Garage Band effect to use and totally cheapens the atmosphere of that section of the song. There were all kinds of other, more interesting robotic or classic Psytrance vocal effects they could’ve used instead (the vocoder effect on the “take me on a trip DJ free my mind” section of Alice is a good example).
