Gaga always gets the best out of her producers and Jack has some good stuff, but he has a more minimalistic approach while Gaga's best songs are those where she goes all in on ther production. A lot of people blame Jack for Midnights and TTPD but TLOAS was produced by Max Martin, a genius, and it sounds just as flat and unspired as TTPD and Midnights, so idk... filsns 176 Posted December 9, 2025 Share Posted December 9, 2025 I'm not a fan of Jack Antonoff's work tbh. Gaga doesn't need a dedicated producer for the entire album. Having one doesn't guarantee commercial success, no matter which one she chooses. Take Mark Ronson for Joanne as an example... It's 90% Gaga + 10% collaborators anyway, with how controlling she is with the creative process. And she proves to be a great producer by herself in any case. After Mayhem, I have complete confidence in her and would prefer she choose a different producer for each track whenever she feels like she needs some help.
