By that logic we shouldn’t celebrate DWAS being #1 on 2025 lists because it was released in 2024?

+ Wildflower was released as a single in 2025

I'm more than happy to remove DWAS from any list :ororomunroe:

Wildflower was released in May of 2024 along with the album it was on :bear:

I'm totally fine with it beating Abracadabra though if that makes you feel better, it's a great song and any year where Billie and Gaga share the top two (regardless of who is #1) is a good year

Our filtration does not matter. Regardless of when they are released all songs are included on Spotify and Apple Music lists. They do not make a distinction. While officially DWAS tops 2025 lists, Abracadabra is NOT the top female solo song of this year.

Whatever filtration is not included by Spotify or Apple Music and created by the Stan twitter to engagement farm without any official announcement.

Anyway congratulations to Vanish Into You to top both Spotify and Apple Music lists for being the top 2025 song released this year while it was a sunny day in Minneapolis+ starting with V and having 5 syllables

Amazing how hard this fanbase protests the success of her songs that include a featured artist, appear in a movie, or receive a major televised appearance, and yet still isn’t happy.

Can’t exclude male-led songs or collaborations here, even though we need to thank Bruno / Ariana / Bradley / Colby any time those songs are celebrated… can’t call Million Reasons a hit because it only peaked thanks to the Super Bowl, but Abracadabra missing the top 10 due to Kendrick’s own SB boost isn’t a valid reason for its “underperformance” in the U.S., etc.

Not everything needs to be fought or asterisked. Just take the cool fact and enjoy it - or don’t. Literally nobody is losing anything over LGN’s criteria.

Now see, I can't tell if you're trolling as usual and I don't care about who's on top so :ororomunroe:
