Super lucky to grab the spot, we were only about 2 metres from the barrier. It was a bit of a hot spot though, lots of people trying to push through claiming they were meeting their friends. I went to both shows, and the Friday line didn’t seem as packed, but we weren’t as close. Night 2 Melbourne I was early entry GA and was 208 in line and got second row. My friend went night 1 Melbourne and he got front row lining up about the same time (but was also in full drag so he said he got away with a ‘multitude of sins’ ). The two people at barricade had lined up at 6am and apparently people were hiding/queuing around the corner because the venue rules states no queuing before 9am. I think there were around 400 early entry GA tickets sold. I’d say the first 150ish would get first row barricade. But it really is a gamble. Like I said I lined up at 1:30, the two next to me lined after 2:00 and the two in front of me camped all day. But also keep in mind this was a HUGE stadium venue. I’d never been to Melbourne before let alone seen how massive this venue was so I was a bit shook, and she she brought the tiny arena stage.. I felt so bad for peope in rear GA because they wouldn’t have seen a thing but I digress.. from our experiences at least I’d suggest for a stadium: early entry GA line up around midday if you want front row.
