Teletubby 153,935
In a conversation on Instagram, Monica said she had to hop on to shout out Chris Brown and thank her supporters for coming out to a recent The Boy Is Mine tour stop. She then pivoted to talking about Chris. The singer spoke passionately about her longtime admiration for Brown, calling him “the greatest entertainer that is left here on earth with us.” When asked if she would ever collaborate with him, Monica didn’t hesitate. “Hell yeah,” she said. “I have never asked him to do a song or anything like that. I’ve just always wanted him to know that not everybody that loves him wants something from him.” According to Monica, her connection to Brown goes far beyond music. She said she’s supported him through every chapter of his career, publicly and privately, and insisted her love for him is genuine, selfless, and unwavering. Monica didn’t hold back when praising Brown’s artistry and talent. “I feel like he is the greatest entertainer that is left here on earth with us. There were many before him. He is just one of one,” she said. “Just the sound of his voice or his harmonies or anything just instantly makes **** better,” she added. “I don’t give a damn whose song it is, he makes it better.” Monica recalled once seeing Brown in the studio during a time when he was under intense public scrutiny. She said they had a meaningful conversation, and Brown already knew how deeply she supported him. Monica emphasized that her relationship with Brown is grounded in sincerity, loyalty, and “big sister love.” “He knows that my love for him is not wavering or fleeting. Chris knows that I absolutely support him, good, bad, or indifferent, no matter what,” she said. Monica also praised Brown’s close-knit team and insisted that his path is divine. “He’s exactly where he’s supposed to be,” she said. “It was written. His destiny was determined by God Himself, and he is just living out his purpose.” source "You b*tch!" ~ Rat Boy 7 1

Borislshere 53,127
Lmaooo all these black old heads feel the same way about Chris brown. I’ve seen so many older black artist show support for him and other problematic artists. It’s a generational and a real problem in the black community that goes a lot deeper than just “showing support”. Too early for a think piece so imma leave it at that 1

Too early for a think piece so imma leave it at that I know some ppl will flip at this because your supposed to be extra sensitive with what you say about black community and minorities but I think its also problematic to create a social shield of immunity where nothing is allowed to be called out just because a group of people faced oppression Fact is cultures have differences and nearly every culture has some negative tedences of one kind or another (im not just refering to race culture here alone but also community cultures too ex: pop community, rap community, gaming communjty etc) and its not a bad thing to call those things if theres problematic tendencies in behavior Edited November 15 by Economy
