I've heard such claims before, especially from people I've met whilst travelling Eastern Europe, and it really doesn't surprise me. The Yugoslav Wars feel somewhat forgotten today, but they were so unbelievably horrific; if there's a war crime or atrocity you can think of, it probably happened in Bosnia in the nineties.

Yeah stuff like this really isn't surprising. The rich can and will do anything to stay rich and get richer. This is a huge part of why revolutionary figures advocate for just that, revolution.

I think I remember Eli Roth saying it was inspired by when he heard of apparently true stories of rich people paying to go into a room and execute someone, it did cross my mind when I heard about this

Its very annoying that this has been known about since the 90s in the Balkan nations but only now are people finally prepared to even pretend to take action.

Like I remember hearing about this 10 years ago from my uni lecturer when studying this conflict. It should not have taken 30 years for action.
