How likely do you think it is they will make a film of the Mayhem Ball? In the past how far has it been into touring that they end up filming it?
I think it's her best tour and it would be a shame to not get an official release

I think it’s likely we are going to get a concert film. First of all it’s a visual and sound spectacle and it would be a waste not to record it professionally and release it. Second, Gaga said in GCB interview something like she was sorry for not releasing concert films of her previous works and that she would do it from now on. Of couse we should take that with a grain of salt but being this new era and phase of her life in a better place and full of fan service, I’m positive about it.

My only doubt is the fact that even being only about 55-60% similar to the Mayhem Ball Tour, the Coachella and Copacabana shows were already livestreamed. To us that doesn’t mean anything, but maybe to GP the show would be something already seen (the opening, the cage dress…) but I don’t think it’s going to matter. With a good trailer with little spoilers of the new parts, it’ll be fine. So yeah I’m positive about it.

My hope is that they include backstage and preparation footage as well. I’ve always loved the idea of showing a couple of backstage clips during the interludes for istance.

And btw we need @Starmie25 to hop on this thread. The strongest believer of the existence of GCB before its actual release:cheeky:

If they do, I hope it’s before the Grammys to help promote mayhem …

Yeah I did wonder if Coachella/Copacabana would be a reason they might not but there's enough differences I think. I really want a professional recording of LoveDrug live

it'll likely come in fall/autumn 2026 after the tour ends and to help push Mayhem Deluxe/Mayhem sister album for Grammys 2027 (i'm aware this is completely a fantasy but let me live my french vanilla fantasy for a bit lmfaobdjdkldk)

Since The Chromatica Ball is still pretty unwatchable for her German fans, I hope for a wider release on Disney+ or Netflix or even a cinema release. We have seen that concert films work great for cinema audiences and I would like to experience this for the Mayhem Ball.

And since some of you are worried that there are two professional live-streams already: the show is based on what she did for Coachella and Copacabana, but there are so many additions, especially the performances of Applause, The Dead Dance, Just Dance, LoveGame, the new performance of Shallow, Million Reasons and this could make the GP interested again if marketed properly.

Taylor released the first Eras Tour film after finishing the first US leg with 100 shows still scheduled at the time of release. People still went to the concert and people will still watch the updated second Eras Tour film as if they've never seen it before. The Weeknd released a tour film already and the tour has been going on for three more years after the release.

I wouldn't mind a "Behind The Mayhem" kind of documentary along the concert film release.
