At its current run time, it feels like it doesn’t really go anywhere. I’ll probably feel differently hearing it in the context of the album tho yes it's good, and her lyrical voice is beautiful, she's very talented, but it just feels like she's interpolating a classical piece that's already made, i was expecting her to do more of a crossover or have something else there, meh

I’ll probably feel differently hearing it in the context of the album tho I felt that way at first—almost like it’s a transition track—and still kind of feel that way but wow what a beautiful transition, if so. It seems like an odd single choice bc it feels like it needs album context to make more sense which doesn’t mean it’s bad but jsut an odd choice to make stand alone

It sounded “experimental” just for the sake of being experimental lol What does that even mean though? The song can very much be interpreted as this strange encounter between what is divine and holy and grand and what is more physical and profane and earthly (the title being Berghain is very indicative of that too), the orchestral arrangement with the choir and bjork's part mirror that in opposition with Yves' very punchy and violent part All of it feels very intentional and not random for the sake of being quirky or edgy. I'm sure it'll make more sense in the context of the album (especially that it introduces a movement) but even on its own, and while it doesn't necessarily feel like a standalone single, it still makes sense as a full song Soft, soothing, and succulent
