So for me, she just said that she declined to perform at the Eurovision, if we assume that it’s even true, is simply a pr stunt and an abuse of the suffering of the Palestinian people for a few likes and shares.

To be fair, Zara has been speaking up on Palestine even before the recent Gaza/Israel conflict that started in October 2023. In fact, she made statements in 2021. I don't think this is a PR stunt. She has done way more in 2021 than the average girl her age in Europe would have...

I think that she had to perform at the eurovision and use her platform there to say something, but to decline and then announce it in an interview 5 months later while promoting an album is not a smart move.

Because at the end, she did it behind the scenes, so her impact on bringing the issue to more people is absolutely zero, so she's the only one who gains something about telling what she did.
