Morphine Prince 109,655
Donald Trump has said he is increasing tariffs on goods imported from Canada by 10%, after the province of Ontario aired an anti-tariff advertisement featuring Ronald Reagan. The US president called the advert a "fraud" and lashed out at Canadian officials for not removing it ahead of the World Series baseball championship in a social media post on Saturday. Ontario's premier said he would take it down to allow trade talks with the US to proceed, after Trump withdrew - but that it would still run in the US over the weekend. Canada is the only G7 country that has not reached a deal with the US since Trump began seeking to charge steep tariffs on goods from major trading partners. Like globally, he’s going to be eating in the kitchens of restaurants, piss in his salad dressing, garbage in his pillows. What the U.S. does or doesn’t do idk but the rest of the world? Oh he’s going to be treated like a turd on a paper plate the rest of his days. Either way, a completely pointless shitshow We have forgotten our public MANNERS

Either way, a completely pointless shitshow Canadian exports to the US have fallen already. The only reason Canadas trade balance hasnt been damaged to a severe degree is that exports to other Nations are up, and Canadians are boycotting enough US products to offset lower exports to US Steel in particular is way down. Canada has sold more of its steel to Europe that the US is no longer buying. A really dumb tarrif in my opinion. Its a rae material for manufacturing. Your gonna help 2k or 3k steel producers and hurts hundreds of thousands of manufacturers. Trumps logic Its why when Canada retaliated with Tarrifs we did not generally target resources and rae materials. Tarrifs on those cause even more damage as it ripples thru entire supply chain
