Agunimon 58
I didn't read the review, but that's about the score I ranked it. I found it a big departure from the quality of the likes of all previous projects.
Ladle Ghoulash 27,535
Valid tbh. I’d been a fan since Innerspeaker and he lost me around The Slow Rush. I think the pop crossover move for critical/indie darlings is a bit of a double edged sword: on the one hand, if you crossover and you maintain your integrity and keep producing high quality music in a new format (ie Currents) and you’re able to consistently do that, then great; however, I think once Kevin Parker started producing pop, it feels like he got kind of complacent and realized he only had to work half as hard as he was before to achieve commercial success and I think that shows on this record. nkta 370
"Dua Lipa flops"?! Damn, that's too harsh considering that both "Houdini" and "Training Season" did okay. To me, it's shocking when people go after Dua in the era when most of pop music underperforms. Dua's "flops" are massive hits compared to latest music from Miley, Demi, Selena Gomez, Halsey and even Rihanna (Hello, Smurfies!)

Hadrian 764
Do they ever post reviews that aren't catty and snarky, or do those get ignored? you saw me a minute to midnight / those opals were brighter than daylight / you stopped me a minute from midnight

Well since they need clicks to survive (online), it’s kinda logical they are doing this. They know how controversial their reviews are, and how obsessed some stans are = more clicks and shares. I’d say it’s all done on purpose - partially at least
