Like it’s such a vulnerable thing to admit and to have your own fans run with it and use it to make fun of your behavior onstage is just beyond to me

I agree. Joanne is in my top 3 Gaga albums. I played it so much when it was released and listening to it fills me with so many memories.

I do feel Joanne needs the 'TAYLOR VERSION' treatment tho. She's in such a better place compared to when she originally recorded the album. I also feel the up-tempo tracks could use a revamp, similar to the JWT versions.

Ngl I’ve felt this way for a while. I feel like, even if it’s not an outright re-record, it at least needs to be re-engineered. The studio versions would hit way harder if they were engineered with a more live sounding feel a la ASIB and Harlequin. I also kind of feel this way abt ARTPOP: would love a rework where we get more spaciousness in the production and maybe more of a live sound in the instrumentation in addition to heavy synths (some live feeling drum fills and some electro guitars would really hit tbh).

I dunno, I love Joanne the way it is and the album is about her journey so re-recording the same songs again while she's farther along in her growth would feel disingenuous.

MJH would hit so hard with more electric guitars in place of the screaming bass and synth blades though

Not analog per se, but more like electroclash EDM rock fusion (like how she plays them live)

I remember thinking about seeing Gaga twice the year of the Joanne tour & I very nearly did but my friends/family talked me out of it. The night before I was supposed to see her, cancelled 

 

Devastated doesn't even cut it. Happy for the rest of Europe though who'll get to hear the Joanne tracks. Such a beautiful performance. LauiiiHD? Yes, welcome back Queen.
