Probably Sour Candy or Alice. Like, not even one of the good ones :bradley:

Manifesting Enigma though since our Miami Chromatica Ball was cut off right before it and it's my favorite from Chromatica

that would be the perfect closure tbh

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

The trauma would heal! Isn't that the whole point of Chromatica?! @BorisIsHere!

at this point i think she will give up on chromatica

Sad Happy Hour GIF

I think Chromatica will either be used in Aus/Japan or used on the final American leg. It's her most recent album before Mayhem, she toured it in the US & Europe. I can see why she's leaving it atm.

So Berlin most likely getting Traumatica. I think I'm fine with that

Huh? If she does the whole album (and she always does), you'll get Joanne. There will be a shift around the French dates.

The only GGD member who can read / Credits to Celloo Deng for the profile pic!

i know its subjective but to me one is boring and the other is not, i think theres like 3 songs from Joanne i still listen to but the rest? nah

the production feels unfinished, the title track sounds like a demo, theres hardly anything that really hits hard on the album and idk the whole era seemed forced

out of all her albums, Mayhem is probably one of the best representations of Gaga as a person and entertainer

my opinion ofc

See, I think the production is more basic on Chromatica than Joanne. I love the songwriting on Chromatica, but most of the beats feel like they were made with stock house music packs you’d get on GarageBand lol. I honestly really enjoy both, but those two and ARTPOP are the only ones where I think the production could use some tweaking.

I thought she sang a Joanne song on piano, but no she went back to Marry The Night? I would love a stripped down version of Perfect Illusion

Genuine question for Joanne haters, have you guys ever been moved by another person's love? I don't understand how the sincerity in the album could just fly past you so easily like this.

I think (and I mean no offense)- it just isn't entirely relatable to them AND a sound they aren't already fans of, so the experience feels dull for them

Joanne was an album that got me through so much and so I personally would be honored to have one of those as the bow songs- but I understand wanting to just jump around to a classic bop.
Regardless, the album deserves more praise from this fanbase

Good to see 9 years later that the fans still don't understand this album :cheeky:

Phagguettes don’t understand that Joanne was more rebellious and forward thinking than ARTPOP :cheeky:

For me, it's the way they go "she wrote an album about her dead aunt that she never knew but also put a song about flicking the bean on it?! :flippy:"

Just a little critical thinking goes a long way :grr:

The album is DEDICATED to her late aunt whose passing has caused generational trauma that effects her. The album is ABOUT Gaga herself and her own journey as a woman healing and growing from past experiences :grr:

100%. Gaga talked about how her dad losing Joanne affected how he raised her (made him controlling and overprotective) and that’s what made her so rebellious. She also talks about how Joanne being this mythic figure in her family and being an artist was a huge part of why she was inspired to become one of herself (hence why she included a poem of her’s in the album booklet for TF and mentions her in the TMB concert film both backstage and in the Manifesto of Little Monsters).

There’s nothing particularly random, out of character, or inexplicable about her dedicating an album to Joanne and acknowledging the way she feels their lives are intertwined in spite of never having met. But some fans hear what they think is “yeehaw” music and turn their brains off, I fear.

Literally to hell with the MAGA man but I ugly cried at the JWT when she was talking about not knowing her real father 'cause the pain and grief of losing his sister changed him so drastically that he became a different person and that's what the song Joanne is really about

"Where do you think you're going" refers to the "old you" "leaving" after some life altering experience and it's simultaneously melancholic and joyful 'cause it's sad when something hurts that much but it's an opportunity for growth and learning

HOW IS JOANNE NOT EVERYONE'S FAVORITE ALBUM :grr:

I wonder if, when she plays Chromatica songs, she'll play Alice, 911 and Sine with their respective interludes...

PG.
