I would’ve sworn back in the days that this one wouldn’t age well as it played so much with the musical trends of the time, but honestly it still holds up. I have a feeling that current acts like Charli XCX creeping their way into the mainstream really helped make this sound still relevant today. More on topic, I love how genuine he seems talking about it. I love how Koons has always embraced popular culture and taken it seriously, which was the whole point of commissioning him for the project in the first place.
