i like taylor but yeah this album is very milquetoast, like how do you get max and shellback on board and market the album with glittery pop visuals and the album ends up being coffee shop background music

All joking aside, I really hope this makes her take a step back and find some new artistic inspiration. This girl is capable of making some great pop music, and I am very disappointed with the product she has been creating the last two albums. It's just so frustrating because I was actually very excited for this album, especially knowing Max Martin was involved.

I really think she’s going to take her time with the next one which is #13, a very important number for her. Like I can see her making that country or some type of “back to her roots” nostalgia to the type of music she used to make like Fearless/Speak Now/Red and will be very Grammy bait and possibly outsell Life of a Showgirl. She’s really gonna try to make one for Album of the Year win.

I still have yet to listen to this album...based on what people have said...its just one long song and nothing really stands out

Is this true? Did she finally flop?

even worse: she's about to break adele's record of first week sales

it's about time billboard starts splitting sales between variants so we can end this madness for good

mother, what must i do?

Its quite obvious that's her only way of making sales is by artifically inflating the numbers based on dumb variants...

I'm not a swiftie, just a casual listener, but the dogpiling/tribalism everyone is showing is so gross. The same sh*t you see in high school, work places, etc.. always wanting to see the "top dog" fail because everyone is secretly jealous and miserable.

Anyway, I enjoyed the album, Fate of Ophelia is an incredibly catchy song, one of her best leads imo.

Or we just don’t like the album 😭

Oh no I wanted it get lower than 143

That paid Rolling Stone review is really saving this album’s Metacritic score because of weight system. She spent her money right.

Oh she's once again reposting the good reviews hoping that those reviewers will give good reviews to have a retweet from her

If it wasn't for this downwards pointed red arrow I would have never known the severity of her decline, thanks! Now I know I can be justified in my fight against the swifties on stan twattr!

I'm definitely not a Taylor fan or even casual listener, but instead of being judgemental and having no basis for criticism I always listen to her projects to see what the fuss is about.

Imo at least it was more entertaining than TTPD. That album was a boreee and draggg. This one is at least upbeat but some very odd lyric choices and songs don't really go anywhere. Mid, nothing memorable, no new territory, no artistic growth.

And sorry but she is 1 year younger than me and still writing like and talking about high school, and she's about to get married? :max: Tbh I would be fine if she never made music ever again, but if she does can she at least go away for a while?
