It actually started with ASIB, if I'm not mistaken, with her advocacy about mental health. Then Chromatica, with dancing thru the pain. Last, MAYHEM started it with Disease.

I think she has hurt in a different way during each album. The same way we go through different periods of pain and anguish in our lives... she just uses music to show and channel it whereas some people like me just drink copious amounts of wine and doomscroll

People have the right to talk about things when they are hurting. The hate against ARTPOP has caused people to say that gay deaths would cure the AIDS pandemic, that Lady Gagas trauma is just "daddy issues", Troy Carter to abandon her a play a role in her feeling like she was gonna die, etc. People have a right to talk about things if they are hurting.
