Taylor Swift - ‘Life of a Showgirl’

Yeah it’s pretty boring. Like a more cohesive, radio friendly Midnights. Straightforward Taylor pop album, but nowhere close to 1989. 
 

I really haven’t enjoyed anything she’s done since Evermore. And I’m not a hater, I went to the Era Tour and had a great time. 
 

She just doesn’t have the vocal ability or the references to create interesting pop albums.

The Fate of Ophelia was great. It's very GP friendly and they will eat it. 

Overall the album is very pop-centric, lots of rhymes , catchy tunes and lyrics

It'll click with the fans and GP, it'll be a hit, me thinks. It's like Short and Sweet but more of slow pop-rockish retro elements with better lyrics. 

IMO: Great pop album, this will be a geepee hit with those pop candy tracks, my fave is Fate of Ophelia

+ the Sabrina collab was one of the weaker tracks

How Bad Do You Want Me is actually more edgy sonically than any of these tracks

but Taylor's Lyrics is really good here, well she always have been a lyricist.

I've only allowed myself to listen to The Fate of Ophelia now. It's a perfect lead for this album I think, and I can't wait to hear all the elements in HQ.

oh same i refuse to listen to any leaks esp so close ngl it does seem silly tho like charli was the biggest artist last year and girl still felt she wasn’t on top

I also had high hopes, sadly the music is not living up to the visual concept.

but honestly what can u expect when u release album every other year, there’s rly no place for growth.

I only listed to Honey, Wishlist, Wood, Actually Romantic and TLOASG, and I don't like any of it  where are Max Martin's bombastic pop choruses?

I don't think it's a respsonse to the song, i think it's more a response to something that might've happened when Taylor was dating Ratty Healy
