Trump: Need military to tackle “Invasion from within”

President Donald Trump said Tuesday major cities should serve as “training grounds of our military”—lamenting what he described as an “invasion from within”— in a speech to top military generals, escalating his threats to deploy troops to San Francisco, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Trump said “we are under invasion from within” that’s “noo different than a foreign enemy, but more difficult in many ways because they don’t wear uniforms,” as he said he wants the military to focus more on domestic security, including tamping down on crime in major cities and illegal immigration. 

The president made the comments as he addressed top military generals gathered at Quantico for a last-minute meeting called by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth (who separately blasted what he described as “fat generals” and an out-of-shape military).

Trump said previous presidents “used the armed forces to keep domestic order and peace,” lamenting “now they say you aren’t allowed to use the military.”

Kamala Harris has objectively one of the strongest platforms ever right now. She was right about almost everything. It's a shame that she lied about a ceasefire in Gaza and bent her knee to the DNCs demands to make her more moderate.

It’s really not particularly impressive to simply say, “This is what he’s saying he’s going to do” and then be vindicated by him doing it.

The answer is nothing. He’s looking for a predicate and so he’s literally just claiming that there’s rampant violence or political turmoil or some **** so he can send in the military.

There was an episode where they went back in time to 2025 in USA. It took place in San Francisco and they have borderline Concentratiom Camps, Authoritarian Government, Law Enforcement was made up of absolute asses and the economy was terrible.

 

How the writers predicted 2025 so accurately is actually astounding

but like everyone else is very "fed up dude keeps talking" and yes i mean conservatives, too. idk the energy just feels kinda flaccid around him, probably bc every congressman who hasn't licked his nuts with total abandon (though still some) is worried about how unpopular every single thing he says is across both sides of the aisle. I know some will call me naive, but my gut is never wrong about these things. not sure how itll substantively change things if at all but idk...energy feels like noxious and fart less woohoo whippets

yeah i live in one of those "terrible" cities and we're vibing like always  it's no secret that the only people who talk like this are the losers are **** their pants if they leave their lawns. they're all just the biggest losers who—im sure there's a connection—have no friends, annoying, etc.

Yeah i don't live near one of those cities but i also live near a major city with a pretty high crime rate, and i haven't seen anything of the matter either, id imagine if its as widespread as he's claiming i would at least be seeing the beginnings of it over here in Atlanta by now.

oh yeah these places aint anything different than atlanta  if anything, the out of towners feel unsafe bc they go to attend a baseball game but there's police copters flying over bc of the militant language of the last decade basically demanding it and vicious cycle repeats itself
