I could not get anything out of this! princedeeblebleble 1,992 Posted October 1 Share Posted October 1 (edited) I love her music and respect what she's done for pop, but this whole Kaballah ted talk was so bizarre like sure go on and give a podcast about it, but she was like well I'm not here to sell anything and then a day later she's advertising classes on Kaballah online? What? Yea having spirituality is nice, working on yourself and learning how to deal with the hardships of life, but like.. why talk about it in such a mormon boys on your door way?? Everything she described is kind of what you can get out of having a very good therapist, being a decent human being and self awareness. But sure, if you need the hand of a higher force to make you feel like you HAVE to do it instead of being it an instinct, go for it sis. And no, praying is not an excuse to be late for hours Madonna, stage fright or preformance anxiety on the other hand is. But even then.. time management to get your **** together would be nice. When I started high school she first starting mentioning Kabbalah and I thought she seemed like this beautiful and intelligent goddess in those days. This was during the Ray of Light era. like I was very impressed and smitten. My parents would have like sort of eye rolled at her then though. Some 25 years later I'm not sure if it's me being older/she's older/I've lived life longer kind of thing but yeah a lot of this "spirituality" of hers I just eyeball at.
