dit 46,520
Gaga made so many sonic and career pivots that she shed and regained and shed and regained lots of fans, demographics and groups in general. It's why her career trajectory seems kind of chaotic if u were to look at a graphic of her peak and dips in cultural and commercial relevance. That said, that's exactly what makes me respect her as an artist...she takes bold risks. Some pay off and some dont but it's still interesting and it clearly is fulfiling for her. What I learned is that some periods in Gaga's career wont be for me but I will still largely root her on while I can enjoy other artists works and then eventually she will release or do something I genuinly enjoy again. Gaga has kind become my comfort artist in the sense that I dont necessary stan her the same way as I used to where she was my main and almost only popgirl I was obsessed with but rather I alternate her with other artists I enjoy and then when I need my good old comfort artist I listen to her discography and then I dip out again but I always end up coming back to her in the end just like a good cozy netflix film u know is reliably entertaining no matter how many times you've watched it throughout your life lol. Creyk 17,895
It seems that her celebrity is intact WW but took a major hit in the US. Both abra and TDD were top 10 global hits if we exclude the US, but somehow her music does not perform well there. And no, DWAS doesn't count. RainOnGaga 286
I feel somewhere the management team for Gaga is the blame for what you say, the continous change of image, in my opinion, factored to the shrunking of the fanbase. You see those countdown reels of The Life Of A Showgirl, an album that even the straightest while single guy knows is coming out. And these reels are by influencers. You didn't see half the same for MAYHEM. Because even though they did put MAYHEM out there with billboards and Spotify conferences, it just didn't quite catch the GP. MAYHEM is still not a name known to everyone like Short n Sweet, or The Life Of A Showgirl, or even Cowboy Carter. Maybe if MAYHEM happened to win AOTY or SOTY, that would change. Here's to a GRAMMY win!

Stef 61,645
This is interesting actually, and I tend to agree. However, what I will say is that Gaga has managed to do what an artist of her age struggles to do this far into her career, and that is appeal to a new generation with this music, Abracadabra in particular, was very much a big moment for her in capturing that Gen Alpha attention and a quick scroll on TikTok shows just how many “new gen” fans she has acquired who are happily listing her amongst Sabrina and Billie in their stan lists. As far as “Top 10s” go, I don’t think it’s as much of her inability as opposed to the cards are always stacked against her. Disease was never going to do anything, yet that was the song that got the massive first week radio deal. Abracadabra had the massive streaming numbers, YT views and sales, yet the radio deal was wasted, which would have easily got her into the top 5 that week Edited Monday at 01:16 PM by Stef Signature loading… 👹🖤
