NUTELLA 14,045
I can understand the appeal of getting a signature from an artist you enjoy in person… but why would you want an item that’s been soullessly scribbled on, conveyor belt-style, by said artist who is likely resenting the process... or at the very least trying to get through it ASAP? Even if it’s guaranteed that they were the one who signed it themself… where is the charm/value in that? (Not asking in a judgemental way, I just don't get it) Edited September 26 by NUTELLA 8

Honestly, I can see why they'd go that route but at the same time you'd want authentic signatures with each one being unique...like you said that's the value in it. Not mad or surprised since plenty of big artists pull this. Only thing I managed to get authentically signed things were from smaller artists. 💛

Is it because they were in contact with the artist ? Edited September 26 by Taumaturg0

Windowlicker 3,639
She definitely signed the first batch that went out since she was on live doing it. But I'm always suspicious of any signed items that are restocked after initally selling out.
spookytanooki 1,122
On-topic/off-topic, I got a signed copy of Paris Hilton's newest album last year, and you can literally see that someone else shakily traced the autograph. There are multiple spots where you can see where the marker was lifted and put down again, like someone was just drawing off of a reference 💀 if you don't have something nice to say, be mean
RAMROD 111,582
eeek! I hate it when this stuffs are autopen. Especially when they sell it for higher price. Either doing it for real or not at all, ugh! 。°(°.◜ᯅ◝°)°。 ✧*:・゚ you supposed to cook for us, AZ (˃̣̣̥ᯅ˂̣̣̥) ♡♡♡ 1
Cameltoe Chariot 15,281
Oh no instead of blindly signing thousands of copies with no real connection to the buyer, she had an auto pen blindly signing thousands of copies with no real connection to the buyer
weed 75,238
Absolutely the whole point of ordering signed merch is that it was TOUCHED physically by your fave. Yes, autopen ruins it! Doesn't matter how brief, they hand wrote the signature. I hate that for her fans. 2

ALGAYDO 33,660
She should’ve done what Gaga did and filmed herself signing a few albums to make everyone think they’re all her actual authentic signatures https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTMFvG7TF/ Or maybe she just should’ve drawn a huge “D” like when Gaga did her “L” on Chromatica
