It would backfire much more than her Harley Quinn role. Things like this annoy the hell out of me. Why change a character just to seem “woke”? Why can’t they try creating new ideas and characters instead of changing things that have a massive following. I was already on the fence about Paapa Essiedu Being cast at Snape, simply because it changes the narrative and the whole bullying thing will seem to be about race.
