Yea same, I feel like BTW videography has aged well but it doesn’t get talked about much in the fanbase anymore. I think the reason is because the fanbase was very divisive about the song at first and I agree that it's just not on the same level as Judas or MTN. I agree that she never really topped this one in terms of weirdness and storyline. Some people said the tooth gap she drew on occasionally during the BTW era was her 'bringing back' the tooth gap she was born with. Like she had it 'fixed' but in these photoshoots Personally I always imagined the alien to be the empathetic 'race within a new race that bares no prejudice' she speaks of, landing on earth and crying for the hatred we harbour towards others. I guess in hindsight that's almost a religious parallel to Jesus coming to earth and crying for mans sins (I think that's a thing idk I wasn't raised religious ) But I guess at the end of the day it's one of those things that's just left up to interpretation I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
