Chouchou 695
From the very start of the Mayhem era, I’ve seen so many of you sharing your love (and sometimes hate) for the songs on this album. And let’s be real - some tracks definitely sparked more conversation than others. Now. Imagine, in another world... All these songs from the Mayhem album — Abarcadabra, Garden of Eden, How Bad Do U Want Me, Vanish Into You — actually became singles and got music videos. I mean, the Mayhem era was already her most successful era from 2020, but can you imagine the level of impact if these tracks had all been pushed as singles? The visuals, the performances, the chart domination... we could’ve had it all What do you guys think? What could this era be if these songs were given the spotlight they deserved? elsamars 3,941
We would have the biggest pop album ever surpassing Katy’s Teenage Dream and MJ’s Thriller. 1 6 2
Madame Goo Goo 4,034
I’m thrilled with what we got for the most part, but here are my wishes/what I would change about the era: 1. Nobody ever says DWAS is a standalone single. It’s promoted from the beginning as Gaga’s lead 2. Garden of Eden or How Bad Do U Want Me as single #4 after Abra 3. Vanish Into You final single after the tour ends with a music video compilation of her going out into the crowd Lady Gaga doesn't owe us anything 1

Panchecco 17,727
I'll never understand this fanbase obsession with HBDUWM. I fear it's my least favorite song from her: I agree with GOE and VIY, maybe one being a promo single and Vanish Into You getting the main single treatment 2
nodandsmile 11,031
also post album singles don't work anymore unless they blow up on their own, even Ariana who is a bigger streaming act could not do it!
Killa 17,867
Lets talk about what if Is that alright, shallow, Always Remember US etc would have been pushed in everyones throats and promoted to death. Gaga did promoted the movie. A lot, but had It been half the movie promo and massive promo for the music..

If anything it’s one of the most divisive tracks next to Killah. Drop it
Bronco 13,780
Honestly, no post release single was going to be a blockbuster. The key things that moved Gaga's numbers back in the day - big performances and music videos just dont seem to impact the charts anymore (excluding the superbowl). That said, I feel like we were robbed of a clear visual album. If the Beyhive and Swifties get one, we deserve it more
Starmie25 19,927
Focusing on "Abracadabra" for the long part was a smart choice, least I think that. Also technically GOE was a promo single and HBDYWM was a radio single in selected markets. Remember this era has been pretty ****ing stellar (even though not everything stuck) and the tour is still going too. Sorcerer 12,524
I would've swapped Garden of Eden as the lead single instead of Disease. HBDUWM could've been the summer single. But post-album release singles are just not working as they did before. Look at Ariana and Taylor's singles. They gave it all to Abracadabra, and it worked for the most part because it is now one of Gaga's classics. ChvVolk 2,427
I like all the singles we got, but Vanish Into You was a huge miss on their part. DWAS needed a production change to fit better onto the album.
