Venus Warhol 320
Sorry if this is just me but iv'e seen so many clips of (mostly) younger girls screaming their lungs out to every damn word and song so that people just can't enjoy the show. Don't get me wrong, I dance, sing, cry at Gagas shows too and if my fave song comes up I might do a little shout of joy! But to scream bloody murder for an entire show and making everyone's ears bleed just doesn't seem "real" to me. Just attention-seeking. I mean ... The person who screams like that can't even hear Gaga herself? Seems like wasted money.. For yourself and everyone around you. Enjoy the show, by all means, but don't ruin it for everyone! Damn! 14

Venus Warhol 320
And just to add... I didn't experienced this like ten years ago... I think it's the younger generation that only does this. Probably for TikTok and sh*t. 5

It's like the reaction videos. Edited September 18, 2025 by Sarah H 2
Bronco 22,710
Its always been a thing. We just film more of our lives than ever before so things look more present. There has been a bit of an uptick in bad concert etiquette though with the continued enforcement of individualism on society. That's definitely made older people who should know better behave worse, and lessened the prevalence of good examples to the younger folks. But like look at One Direction, Take That, Boyzone, Nsync & Backstreet Boys concerts for example. Or the hysteria of some at Beetles concerts. Its not new, its just amplified. Juanlittlem 49,055
I feel people just do the screaming thing for tiktok attention and worse thing is it works. I get screaming from excitement, screaming while singing but theres some people that feels like a competition. I just pray whoever is next to me at my shows aint one of those Estàvem al cel, ara estem a l'infern 3
Cavadour 2,697
That, and the forest of arms up with cellphones are the reason I don't go to live shows anymore. Sure I'm old. But that's no reason to have to put up with this mess at every concert. Late to the party but I got a diamond heart 4
MOT 3,561
Jeez. You'd be hoping arena shows would weed out the riff-raff. 😄

RenegAde 20,287
Unpopular opinion Can we stop policing how people enjoy experiences they paid their hard earned money for with all this made up "etiquette". If people arent screaming too loud they are filming too much or being a dead crowd. Its a public event with different people that enjoy things different they will be inconveniences.

I hope they don't scream like this for 3hours... If they do, they will pass out. I'm just worried I will be next to one but hopefully it's just for a minute for content.. I actually don't think that they truly are enjoying their experience when they behave like that... I think it's fake
