I don't even like Beyoncè 😂 I just don't see the point of falseflag critiques. If a talking point falls down at the first hurdle, all it does make it easier for people to delegitimise the subject. I'd defend any liberal aligned celebrity doing the same thing as Beyonce is here. Because its just the way the world works currently for this kind of subject. You make ugly deals to make actual progress happen. I think its funny you think I wouldn't touch this subject for any other people. I am more than prepared to criticise singers and bands that I like when they do stupid things and say stupid ****. Celebrity means **** all to me, they're just people. Usually people who are totally detached from reality at that.
TheMontebello 668
Not surprised. She was always super performative but God forbid anyone says it near her fans. You like the fat girl I got in me 🍕

But I also think you know the optics on this are pretty bad despite the show of support for a good cause. I wonder if they were "forced" to sit with them because of a donation or something, which is a benefit of a doubt that i shouldn't really be giving to 2 billionaires like Beyonce or Jay-z tbh, i'm sure they have some power over their sitting arrangements, especially with Jay z as host. elsamars 4,132
I know some of you guys can’t stand a Gaga’s peer being successful because you’re insecure but please be real… it’s embarrassing here Despite false reports and optical illusions, Billboard confirms Beyoncé and Jay-Z were not sat with Ivanka Trump and her husband at the Reform Alliance Gala. They were sat sequestered in the middle of the banquet hall. https://www.billboard.com/music/rb-hip-hop/reform-alliance-gala-jay-z-the-weeknd-1236066154/ Edited September 15 by elsamars 1

The optics in this day and age are terrible. I'd wager they sat with them as essentially a sweetheart deal to support any new push for reform. There was a push for a second bill on the back of the First Step Act that Kushner started pushing in 2019 but it never materialised before the 2020 election. And then there's also what I said in a thread about Swift and Kelce being friends with that psycho Patrick Mahomes is married to - celebrity liberals don't see Maga as a big deal, because its not their life at threat lol

But I also heard this "mingling" might have something to do with Jay-z's new casino, he wants to make something big in NYC: https://www.vibe.com/news/business/jay-z-times-square-casino-plan-makes-perfect-sense-1235112128/ I'm sure that in Trump's America to build something like this (or even get it approved) you have to be in the good graces of the Trump family (it shouldn't be like that but I fear it is). At the end of the day, the are both billionaires, with billionaires interests and ambitions, not really hard to believe this was (at least in part) Jay-z lobbying for his NYC casino tbh.
