The Ugly Stepsister, Bring Her Back and Weapons for me. Voted for Weapons.

I was quite disappointed by Together.

In what world is weapons better than sinners. Sinners is such an elite all timer movie, Coogler is exerting 100% of his talent through out. 

 

Mark my words people will remember sinners the same way Alien or The Thing is remembered. I do not think time will be kind to weapons.

The best horror movie of the year for me is BRING HER BACK. I was genuinely freaked out.

But Sinners, Weapons, and Oddity are also amazing.

Oddity came out in 2024 but so far I really liked Bring Her Back! I still have to watch Sinners because it came out when I was super busy renovating my apartment and didn't catch it in theaters but I'll watch it soon

Bring her back should be on this list. IMHO the best horror film i’ve seen in recent years.

I’ve only seen Sinners, but I’d really like to see Weapons as well. I’m also looking forward to seeing Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein.

You should add Nosferatu it came out at the end of December 2024. So to me it is Nosferatu, Weapons, Bring her back, Heretic. Companion was a disappointment to me.

Until Dawn was soooo good. I’m really hoping they do a sequel/something in-universe

 

Loved Sinners, Companion, and Heretic. Need to watch Weapons and Bring Her Back still.

Also just watched The Wolfman last night I lowkey liked it. My wife hated it tho.

I wasn't crazy about Sinners tbh... I know this is an unpopular opinion. Maybe I expected too much of it. But to me, it was just a less fun remake of From Dusk Till Dawn. I can totally see a world where people preferred Weapons, since I'm in this situation.

Of the very few I’ve seen, I enjoyed Sinners and Bring Her Back. Really did not care for Weapons at all. 

But I feel everyone overrates and over hype horror films so much that I’m always just left disappointed.
