MAYHEM era slay appreciation

I think after Chromatica I wasn’t sure we’d ever see Gaga in artist mode again and it made me sad! However Mayhem has just been worth the wait. It’s such an incredible and special album, it’s literally everything I wanted from her! It’s far from over but I’m gonna miss this era when it ends, it was just so exciting.

I honestly believe Michael is our saviour, she found someone who loves and respects her but also helps take her visions and ideas and drive and  them forward  and craft all of the the art into something cohesive and something her fans want.. 

I’m excited for more Michael-supported eras to come, especially if Gaga sees this mayhem-Michael formula as a success….. what more could be in store beyond Mayhem!!?

She should close the era out with Vanish or HBDYWM as the final single. Make the MV the concert performance like they used to do (ie Madonna - Miles Away) if they don't wanna spend money on a full blown video.

Garden of Eden: Being kidnapped by mother mayhem, taken to a poison Ivy like prison, concept of temptations of darkness,

VIY: being rescued be herself by stepping through a mirror during Vanish into You,

Shadow of Man - a final battle of Gaga in broken mirror armour  against a dark knight, Fierce dancing. Triumph self-sacrifice ending. Both don’t survive… however, scene zooms out a lot and all is revealed that what we were watching was Mother Mayhem playing chess..

Disease-The Beast- Abracadbra-Vanish into you- Shadow Of a Man

Starts with the original disease music video but after it ends it transitions to the beast with gaga confronting the black mistress of mayhem figure from the MV. Gaga battles with the monster slowly the mistress of mayhem transform to the beast, Includes shots of a library with gaga and the mistress being experimented on, a shot of a shadow filed room with the beast transforming and lurking and a foggy town from the disease music video additionally the good gaga circles around the beast similar to in the live performance the mistress of mayhem minions circle good gaga.

Then after abracadabra's orignal music video when gaga looks up into the sky it transitions into vanish into you and gaga gets swept under waves. she finds a island with a house and is fallen into the beach. the song begins and the foggy island becomes a storm as she enters the house finding a ghost of  loved one. the music video continues as gaga trys to reach a button on the light house that will wipe her away brining her into the mind of the loved one and reviving them. As the mv ends she acheives her goal and burst into a bunch of photos. stuck in the mind of her loved one it is a void replaying memories and current time.

Now shadow of a man starts with gaga in a void dancing alone and slowley more people come as shes summons them with her dancing the light begins to show and she leaves the void coming back to reality for a ultimate dance at the bridge. Shots include, The void, The mirror broken glass across the floor and a rennasiance goth background looking through the mirror into the void, A opera house with a outfit similar to in the begining of the mayhem ball, with men surronding the mistress of mayhem attacking and tearing down the dress. And finnaly the city, think edge of glory MV mixed with disease and sabrinas tears.

The other day I was thinking about how it feels in-between eras when we’re begging for crumbs and speculating, and here we are NOW in the middle of one of her best eras, I just wanna soak it all in because who knows when the next one will come around. And she’s doing Dark-Gaga again which so many monsters have been begging for for YEARS. A very special time for monsters indeed 🖤

I love this era so much. It will never be forgotten. Saw her for the first time, the album is probably my favourite of hers, and best of all, she seems so happy and in love with what she’s doing in a healthy way. I am so grateful to be alive to experience it all.
