Idk who just had Chica call me but I'm having a low-key night, I'm not really up to meeting anybody after I met so many people yesterday :bradley:

I just wanna sit here with my guy, get drunk (already working on that xoxoxo), and watch Gaga slay the house down :bradley:

Please forgive me :bradley:

It does. They are filming all 4 dates so they will definitely get wider shots without the cameramen, but that makes me me very nervous the film will have a ton of continuity errors…or worse they will make it a Renaissance Tour style film where they don’t even try to be subtle and just throw clearly non-continuous shots after each other in the name of “aesthetic transitions”

1. Most concert films are filmed across multiple nights (her not doing this with Chromatica was very notable). There will always be slight continuity errors, but there are also teams on productions like this whose primary job is to keep those things to an absolute minimum

2. Renaissance was not presented that way for the sake of "aesthetic transitions", it was presented that way because the film was supposed to be a retrospective of the tour as a whole rather than a representation of one singular show. You're talking about these like they're continuity errors when they're not. They're a purposeful, intentional narrative choice for a film that is meant to take a wide look at the tour from start to finish. '

Given how the fashion changed every night and that was a massive cultural discussion around the tour, the decision to present the concert as a dynamic journey around the world with all of the different show iterations present rather than just showing one show was a very welcome concept.

Gaga I don't think is intending for this film to be a representation of the entire tour, but rather a representation of the LA shows alone.

well to me that’s a bunch of nothing just to justify the ugly cuts and jarring transitions. Not my style of film what can I tell ya. Just a preference
