It seems like shes using the tour to promote everything and its not exciting anymore. Award performances are supposed to be special and a surprise. I also wish she did a Mayham song, this era really deserves better. 

I still love this era alot, im not complaining much, im just a bit disappointed that we couldnt get a good iconic VMAs moment.

Im confused, people are saying this is before the show but the videos show it coming after Abra so surely it's during the show?

On the live I watched it seems like Abra is part of the VMA performance! She opens with Abra and then goes into dead dance.

So the VMA performance is a medley of Abra + TDD. They recorded a few takes of Abra, then Gaga went backstage, did a costume change, and did a few takes of TDD and then took a quick break and then the show started.

She performed Abra at the beginning and Gaga herself said TDD was a song written for MAYHEM that she decided to use as a cross promotional opportunity with Wednesday.
