‘Man’s Best Friend’ is the fastest-selling 2025 album by international artist in UK

Sabrina Carpenter secures the UK’s biggest opening week for an international artist of 2025 so far as Man’s Best Friend debuts atop the Official Albums Chart.

Shifting 85,305 units [12,911 CDs, 27,178 vinyl, 7,214 cassettes, 825 downloads, 37,177 streaming] in its first seven days, Sabrina’s seventh studio set eclipses the year’s previous best. Lady Gaga’s MAYHEM managed 55,500 units back in March, while Sam Fender holds the overall 2025 record, with People Watching shifting 107,000 units in its opening week.

It’s one of three Sabrina records in this week’s Top 40. Short n’ Sweet, 2025’s Official biggest album of the year so far, lifts five (8), as 2023 LP emails i can’t send reaches a brand-new peak, vaulting 113 spots (21).
