i think that small syllable THE adds will be crucial to the bridge, i can imagine her repeating DO THE DEAD DANCE (sounding like doodoodeddens) a few times, that would be very catchy and also its literally a command for people to do the dead dance  tiktok is gonna blow up

The song is definitely longer than the leak. Hoping there’s a bit more to the bridge a slight bit more to the intro and as you said a final chorus. I hear a lot of French EDM influence to the track. Production is a bit hard to ascertain and I feel there are some other vocals in the bridge not being made out in the leak. Sounds like a banger can’t wait to hear it in full with all of the production. Definitely feels like it fits on mayhem and the most prominent use of French EDM she spoke about when marketing the album while still having the funky feel of Zombieboy, Kill For Love, Shadow of a Man, etc. I can slightly understand comparisons to Venus, slightly. It sounds slightly like an ARTPOP inspired track through the lens of Mayhem. Has the strongest EDM influence of any tracks this era.

The leaker was right at least about "The Dead Dance" release date, but this also means they are not chasing charts with this, we'll only get 2 days of tracking, which is totally fine, idgaf about the charts on this one, I just want more music, more visuals and more gaga and we shouldn't expect a big chart impact, at least, not at the start.

Still has the potential of being a huge hit in the following weeks, much like DWAS didn't do very well initially but it started dominating aftwerwards.

Yeah she 100% has a shot in traditional pop album category. Harlequin had a strong positive press feedback. Strong critics score (bigger than LFS and CTC, which both won the category).
