Yeah but I do see it normalized for people to love Azealia Banks and shes openly homophobic

And it shouldn’t be, it’s FAR MORE normalised to like Nicki Minaj and hell even CHRIS BROWN than it is Azealia though. But I think yes you CAN like whoever you want but don’t play dumb when you’re investing money into these people and you get called out for it or a complicit

Nobody cares about red flags and internet vibes irl

They f a man if he’s hot or not that’s it

Internet vibes no but red flags are a real thing irl. When you’re just hooking up ofc not but DATING or MARRYING they absolutely are.

Would you date or marry someone who idolises Jeffrey Dahmer or P Diddy?

Yeah... the one time I dated a self admitted Barb he admitted to actively lusting after his uncle and being in a quasi sugar baby situation with him and (as I later learned from a fellow mutual/victim) had bumped uglies with his cousin.

He wasn't a red flag, he was a ****ing circus. I thought I was going insane. Never again.

Who uses date apps for dating or marrying anyway. We know what they are for so.

And answer to your question is yes. I don’t care as long as they are hot.

I see some truth in this but at the same time, you can form objective opinions about someone's artistry without endorsing their character. You can like a melody without liking the lyric. You can like an album without liking the artist.

Yeah but to call yourself a Barb implies that you like Nicki enough to endorse her

Yes but this is about someone who is a Stan not a casual fan. I’m a Stan of Gaga because I endorse her message, morals, music and personal decisions. Same would go for them.

Ok I guess this makes sense. Unless they specifically separated their opinions on her music from her character

I think Zach Campbell put it best. You can love the artist and brand but hate the person. Nicki the artist has amazing bars and made huge headway for other female rappers through her experimentation and drive, but the person is not good as she has been okay with predatory behavior and bigoted behaviors.

Yes you sure can, but as I’ve said- if you are streaming or buying people’s music you’re actively giving them money that they then use to fund those behaviours.

Zachary is the same, if he doesn’t like that Nicki has the money to support a child m*lester then dont stream her music or go to her concerts because congratulations you’ve just gave her the money to continue to do that.

This is also true as well.

I’d rather suffer with a Swiftie or Arianator than this lol

Nicki just promotes this sort of aggressive, attention seeking victim mentality in a lot of gay men - I’ve def noticed it for years.

100%. If you support Nicki you are super problematic yourself. I'm all against cancel culture in general but Nicki truly doesn't deserve ANY support from anyone.

Also I don't think I'd ever date a super obsessed stan of anyone, it's kind of a turn off to me

Roughhouse Dandy

Yes, but not just barbz.

If you're a grown adult and take stan culture seriously I don't respect you enough to date you. If you care enough about a rich artist to argue streaming numbers and get in your feelings about people liking another artist more than your favorite? And you aren't getting paid for it? You're not a serious person.

Arianator, barb, little monster, etc...

This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.
