Maybe contractual obligation, Gaga will want to announce that herself

Well, nothing about being apart of the soundtrack at least. Everything we actually know officially it's from one variety article from early august, and that article doesn't mention soundtrack a single time:

The song is obviously for the show, but it was never mentioned it was apart of the soundtrack in any official manner afaik.
