I'm far from a Taylor fan, but staging engagement photos is very normal for regular people. The person who is proposing will usually arrange for the photographer ahead of time. There are plenty of reasons to be annoyed with her, but this isn't one of them.

If you post things publicly you are opening yourself up to criticism. I personally find it a little insincere and performative to stage an engagement. Especially for a couple whose pop culture status is routinely used to promote projects. 

Maybe that’s just because I’ve always thought of getting engaged as a personal, private moment between people in love.

Am I the only one who finds Travis insufferable? He and his whole family seem very attention seeking. He’s also not very smart and even admitted that he can’t read well. I have a gut feeling he’s not the one for her

Me personally, I just feel like he loves being in the spotlight. He knows being with Taylor will keep him in it after he retires. I'm pretty sure he loves her, but I've always felt like he's eventually gonna get bored of her.

But again, just my opinion.

Hi. Someone who proposed to my now husband and then had photos taken. You can have photos taken AFTER the actual proposal to celebrate the engagement. Which is likely what happened here. Not a big deal. You need to calm down.
